Request for proposal for publishing IFLA Journal

In December 2003, the IFLA Governing Board approved a recommendation by its Publications Committee to invite proposals from publishers, including the current publisher, for the publication of the IFLA Journal for an initial period of three years after the present contract with K.G. Saur ends on 31 December 2004.

Proposals are sought from publishers which will lead to improvements in terms of finance, marketing and development of the journal in both print and electronic forms and, in particular, lead to increased income from paid subscriptions and advertising.

A request for proposal to the publication of IFLA Journal, with effect from March 2005 has been issued and can be made available to seriously interested publishers.

Proposals have to be submitted not later than 4th March 2004.
